On the left is the LEGO charecter with 180 pollys followed in the middle by charecter at 190 and on the right 385pollys... It is stupidly dificult to reduce polly on a modle but worth it as i have learned onlot on how to reduce polys in a modle.

It is great that you have thrown yourself into the Lego modelling. I would like to see your wire frame as well to see how the modelling goes. When I did the placement last year, they were not as bothered about using tris as college is. They said it is a very good practice to work in quads but they do allow tris in their models. Be wary though, Mike modeled a lego character and showed them and although they liked his enthusiasm, they ripped the model to pieces. All the lego models they make are exactly the same as the lego parts.
ReplyDeleteI know. i modled my lego charecter from photographs i took of a lego charecter. turned out fairly well.
